Physical
Requirements and Registration Information
The
age and weight requirements are as follows:
Flag
football (age 6-8)
C team football
(age7-9 up to 105 pounds)
B team football
(age 9-10-11 up to 125 pounds)
A team football
(age 11-12-13 up to 155 pounds)or lightweight 14 year olds weighing
up to 120 pounds
Flag
cheerleading (age 5-6)
C team cheerleading (age 7-9)
B team cheerleading (age 10-11)
A team cheerleading (age 12-14)
Age
is determined by the age your child reaches by August 1, 2008 for
football players and by December 1, 2008 for cheerleaders.
School grade is also considered for cheerleading.
All
players and cheerleaders must have a physical exam by a qualified
physician before participating in American Youth Football and Cheerleading
League Program.
** Total cost due at 2008 Registration**
February 6, 2008
- First child $160.00; each additional child $130.00; Flag Football
& Cheerleading $55.00
April 5, 2008-
First child $170.00; each additional child $135.00; Flag Football
& Cheerleading $60.00
June 7, 2008
- First child $175.00; each additional child $140.00; Flag Football
& Cheerleading $65.00
Each participant will be required to sell 10 lottery
tickets at $5.00 each by September 1, 2008 as part of a fundraiser.
The tickets need to be picked up and paid for at the time of registration.
THE COST OF THE LOTTERY TICKETS IS INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION
FEES.
ALL REGISTRATION FEES ARE DUE AT
THE TIME OF REGISTRATION; NO EXCEPTIONS.
Gates Jr. Spartants Youth Football
and Cheerleading is a non-profit, volunteer run organization. ALL
PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO VOLUNTEER TIME
DURING THE SEASON TO ASSIST US IN THE OPERATIONS DURING PRACTICES,
GAMES, AND OTHER LEAGUE ACTIVITIES. Access
